Have you heard of the WiMAX or World Interoperability for Microwave Access, Inc? In case you haven't been heard of this acronym, World Interoperability for Microwave Access, Inc. is a network of technologies based on the IEEE 802.16 wireless standards. Today, there are two main types of WiMAX. The first one is known as fixed WiMAX (802.16d-2004). The second is what we call as mobile WiMAX (802.16e-2005).
