WiFi network access operates under the 802.11b specification which have three access points, namely, bridge, NAT router and NAT router +bridge. Bridge type access is the type of access that connects a
WiFi network to a wired network. Communication between these two different networks work both ways.
A
NAT router type, on the other hand, directs digital signal traffic from a wireless network to an
Ethernet wired network but the communication is only one way. Lastly, NAT router+bridge is a type of access which combined both of the preceding types. This bridges wireless and wired networks and directs them to the Internet by using one IP address.
