Individual computers in use today are seldom unconnected to a
network or the Internet, as if a computer cannot function without a network. Indeed, in some sense, networks are the lifeline of computers. Without networks,
file sharing and communication among computers will not be possible.
The most common computer network today is the wired network either connected by telephone lines or cable. Another type of computer network system is the WiFi system which allows relative mobility among computer network users. This system conforms to the specifications of
EEE 802.11b wireless system.
